Camp Description

This is a drop-off class. It’s ooey and gooey and oh so much fun! What kid doesn’t love to get messy as they create with clay? Students will use a variety of tools and techniques to make owls, monsters, bowls and much, much more. Hand building is a way to work with clay without using the pottery wheel – instead we will use techniques with coils, slabs or pinching the clay to create several clay creations. In this dynamic 6-week session, students will get to use tools like rolling pins and slab rollers to start the process, using more clay to embellish and decorate our work. Pieces will not be fired, but spray glazed instead. Cost includes all materials.
